Here's the deal...an eco-friendly lifestyle is a choice (an uber-cool one by the way) but it doesn't have to complicate your life. You don't have to put windmills in your front yard or spend your whole retirement on solar panels (although both options would be fantastically cool!) What you could do, however, is become more aware of fundamental environmental concerns, and with that be proactive to make a difference.
What we get from the Earth (and take for granted): The Air we breathe (fresh or otherwise) that keeps us alive Sunlight that sustains life, and brightens our day Glorious flowers and plants that line our parks, yards and streets Water to drink, wash our clothes, keep our lawns green and our bodies clean Raw materials that allow us to build houses, drive cars and fly to Cancun Beautiful Sunsets that appear without asking Trees that give us paper, firewood, furniture (and way-to-many grocery bags) Land that grows our food supply Wildlife, birds, This is a partial list - there are many others. Don't we have the time, desire and energy to give a little back? If everyone made one small change in their lifestyle, the effect would be HUGE. Think about what you can do this week, and do it.
