France is really quite famous for its range of perfumes for women. It sure seems like nearly every quality and renowned women's perfume comes from France and of course France is the birthplace of the huge perfume industry which is now renowned across the world. The perfume industry in France is actually 300 years old. The initial stages of using fragrance have different origin though and they are mainly from the east.
According to history, Egyptians were really fond of using scents and fragrances and of course who can forget Queen Cleopatra who used to take bath in fragrant water. Egyptians also used perfumes in rituals, as incense, and in ointments and lotions dated as far as 3500 years ago. A few hundred years after that, the women of Egypt were using certain scents for their beauty.
The international market seems to just bundle around all female products. Be it cosmetics, garments, shoes, jewelry, handbags, linen, drapery, household items or perfumes. Females just want to drop for shopping all the time. Perfumes are used widely both by men and women but the females are wild about them.
The truth is the perfume industry has grown in a vast manner in the last 20 years and today is a multi-billion dollar industry that never stagnates and is continuously introducing new products to tempt more women to buy them. The real brand name perfumes are reasonably expensive and every buyer is always on the look for the perfume spot that offers the best comfortable prices. If you are looking for genuine perfumes be prepared to spend a fair amount of money at the perfume shop. This is true even if the shop offers you good discount prices. Don’t expect these products to be cheap by any standards hence they can be used daily without any problems.
It is simply wonderful to see the diversity of scents and perfumes available in the stores these days. And of course it keeps growing year after year. In spite of the very high prices, the rage has denied coming down and the market keeps growing. Some of the popular brands of female perfumes are Christian Dior, Burberrys, Beverly Hills, Issey Miyake, Nina Ricci, Chanel, Hugo Boss and Jean Paul Gauthier.
The perfume industry is an accurate parallel of the fashion market that never stops and that too especially for women. All companies in this business spend an exceptional amount of money in study and development in order to create a product that will create a lasting impression in the market. And it does not end there; the marketing side of business is a whole new story.
