In this day and age when everybody is asserting their independence, it’s hard to get into a committed relationship. Furthermore, if you ever do find yourself in one, it’s even harder to keep it. That’s why when you do find yourself in a relationship with someone you really care about, you’d want to do everything in your power to keep it going. You neither want to be too clingy or too distant in all aspects of the relationship, one of which is in gift giving for special occasions.
Give the Right Gift of Not Quite Love - Yet It’s easier to scare a man away than to keep him. That’s a fact. When in a relatively new relationship, you can be sure that you’ll always be on tiptoes. You’d like to do everything right, say the right things, and when it comes to special occasions, give the right gifts.
If you’re dating a man and you’re unlucky enough that his birthday or Christmas comes up, you’ll be skating on thin ice. You have to give him a gift that doesn’t scream desperation. It has to be a gift that doesn’t come on too strong, if there’s such a thing. Most of all, it has to be tasteful and elegant because it will be a reflection of your personality. On the other hand, it also has to be a gift that shows that you care, that you are starting to feel something for him.

Your imagination is the key, but you really don’t need to go all out and spend too much on a gift for your man. After all, you’re already giving him the perfect gift — yourself.
